Grandma--great grandma to you--was not a Warthen. (Mama (Jenna) and Aunt Alene married Warthen brothers.) Ruby Snow married Jesse Benoni Warren, which is close to Warthen, and so it is easy to confuse. After Jesse died, she returned to the town where she had grown up, and soon married "a dear friend from her youth, Hans Peter Jensen," who become my grandfather.
